Founder’s Note

Firetip didn’t start as a product. It didn’t start as a business idea. It didn’t even start as something meant for the public. I originally built Firetip for one simple reason: so sCloud users could reliably receive emails from sCloud.

I needed a way to send system emails, notifications, and updates — and actually see who opened them, what landed, and what bounced. Nothing out there gave me the visibility or control I needed, and I didn’t want to rely on rented cloud queues or someone else’s reputation.

So I built my own outbound engine. Not to compete with anyone. Not to create a new category. Just to make sCloud’s own email work properly, with clean tracking and sovereign delivery.

Only later did I realise Firetip was running on my own SC01 hardware identity nodes, with dedicated outbound lanes and UK‑resident routing. What started as a simple internal tool turned out to be something no ESP could replicate — a sovereign outbound architecture hiding in plain sight.

Firetip wasn’t meant to be a product. But the moment I saw what it actually was, it became clear: this wasn’t just for sCloud. This was for anyone who needs certainty.
